RE: Get over yourselves...Actually moneythree, the company seems to be somewhere slowly, but that's how it is when introducing a new Green product into a $2 billion market.
I wouldn't say the burn rate is too high. Actually they've cut costs and that's due to HP-L Lignin, one of their products coming out of R&D stage and into hopefully commercialization soon after tes results are received from industry partners.
The new green Cellulose products being developed with FP Innovations are still in R&D and those will likely take longer to get into commercialization, but I'm sure those costs are being subsidized to some degree by FP Innovations.
As for LEC being top heavy, I've looked at the salaries of the execs and they seem to be in line with industry standards for the chemical/petroleum industry.
Of course, when there are currently zero to minimal sales, they seem high, but if/when LEC begins selling their HP-L Lignin on a commercial scale, then I wouldn't call them top heavy.
And they actually are producing, albeit on a pilot-scale at the moment. It's still early, but the market cap of under $10 million is quite low for what may be great potential for growth, IMO. atb
