(This is metaphor; not religious diatribe; but), ALH diehards have been ‘wandering in the wilderness’ for far too long; and a prolonged period of trial and tribulation has taken its heavy toll, - set out for a land of promise, got wilderness instead; a place of confusion instilling a loss of clear purpose; concentric circles on the way to Canaan; grumbling, often without sustenance; speaking out; tired of waiting; fed up; impatient to finally enter into a land ‘flowing with milk and honey’; overflowing with gold.
(Only desolation; dissolution; and a seemingly endless stretch of barren ground; for, regrettably, this is the only way that things can be snagged in the prismatic republic of Kazakhstan).
And now, as the journey nears its fulfillment, camping in the wilderness before the mountain: thunder and lightning; fire billowing up like from a furnace, the entire mountain trembling violently, covered in a cloud of smoke; a very loud trumpet blast as the inexplicable prepares to reveal itself; more thunder, lightning, and loud noises; wrapped in dense smoke; shaking violently; awaiting a "burning bush" experience.
Behold. Here we are: mired in irreverence and doubt (with reason set aside); but, shortly, this dust cloud of uncertainty will clear, the sky will lighten, confusion will dissipate, - only to disclose the ‘true state of affairs’ as being more than sufficient to set all things right; validating Alhambra’s manifold strategy of simultaneously pursuing ‘reserve building’ at multiple sites.
Indeed. Growing ‘booked reserves’ is by far the most visible manifestation of exploration success (a true measure of intrinsic worth), and, by year-end 2011, Alhambra is set to have in hand three ‘significant’ National Instrument ("NI") 43-101 compliant resource reports.
Beyond darkness dwell bright lights; and the prize we seek; justifying the patience and resolution that ALH diehards have collectively demonstrated over many years.
Yes. This will be big, and most wonderful; with better things and magical elements about to come into play.
So, don’t lose hope, vex the spirit, and suffer despair; try not to mistake false forms; for, in reality, this is a time to prepare for immutable jubilation.
This has not been easy, but it will be abundantly worthwhile; a medicine most powerful.
