RE: RE: RE: Undervalued...
RE: RE: RE: Undervalued... Generally, the market does have a short attention span and hope for the quick buck, at least in my opinion. From reading i have done today, the bulk of economists seem against QE3, while a seeming preponderance of brokers and analysts want it. Surely today's TCK sp action was tied to a repeat of last year, ie more quant. easing. But, i suspect that will not happen, and i also suspect that as the week goes on, people in the market will be less convinced than they were today. But a key issue is how the market will embrace other options that the FED might propose. Is it QE3 or bust? Or will the market recognize that other interventions might be attractive?I am concerned about our position in the electoral cycle. If i am not mistaken, the year of presidential elections is, statistically, below average. Usually, i might ignore such stats, but with the particular political dynamics this year, i really do think that politics will likely hurt both the economy and stock market returns.
