RE: Reason for the slow summer drilling wiseMC47,
Thanks for that great post that came via
www.mexicomike.ca. Barn Breath had alluded to the forest fire issue in a previous post (if my memory serves me correct), but nonetheless, the MC47 post puts the gravity of the situation into perspective.
The forest fires also explains the delays in the news release; we would have otherwise likely had news by now on the summer drill program. But I am sure news is imminent, anyways.
On a slightly different note, Dr. Q knows what he's doing... we are in good hands. Ms. Levinson
et al. are wise to just let him "do his thing." By the looks of things, he is less concerned about deep drilling than he is trying to "connect the dots." Put another way, he is going wide, or stepping out, as he's pretty confident that drilling for depth will end in mineralization anyway, so why bother (at this point). Some of you may recall that I had posted a while back that I wished he would drill deep first (to help prop up share price), but in retrospect, and my selfish reasons aside, he seems to be allocating precious resources (cash and time) wisely in stepping out, rather than drilling down. So, hats off to Dr. Q. Can't state it enough times how lucky we are to have his genious on our side.
Long live the GCU longs!

P.S. Also just wanted to mention that we are lucky to have such great posters on our board. Thankfully, and unlike so many other boards on Stockhouse, we have not been polluted by bashers, shorters (at least, not visibly) or other trash talkers. Instead, we have the likes of Scout, Barn Breath, Booyaca and others who, collectively, are making this forum most informative. I'll speak for myself when I say "thank you" to them, and all of the others (but I am sure my sentiments are echoed by many). Let's all enjoy the ride - I think the party is just getting started.
