Where's The Fat Lady?

Where's The Fat Lady?Isn't she supposed to sing now that gold's run is finished?

Problem is, she may be a tad overweight, but she is smart.  Gold is not finished.  Finland and 4 other Eurozone countries now want collateral for the second Greek bailout.  And guess what the leading collateral contender is?  Hint: think yellow.

Greek 2 year notes now yield 41%.  Ever see a banker relent and go soft?

Regardless of what our short selling guru suggests, and he has admittedly been right lately, now is not the time to be selling.  People are running scared big time.  Check out the Venture index if you think CAN is the only disappointment  The flight to 'safety' is about to resume.

It takes a LONG TIME to change perceptions.  Exploration stocks are not going to suddenly take off.  Not until gold's run starts to get touted as smart rather than a bubble.  The financial press ain't there by a long shot.  Keep your powder dry.  Canaco's day will come when the majors get expensive, the advisors jump on board, and everyone hears about their neighbour having made a killing.  Greed follows fear as sure as god made little golden apples.
