My two cents worth...
My two cents worth...Jamie2001 - Your right if you are saying that now would be the last real opportunity to buy. Stock has hit leg one of the classic 3 leg jump.
ThyFish - As usual nothing escapes you and you call it right
Danger1 - Gold is up because the US dollar is down and will continue to be so for the long foreseeable future. This is no bubble. They say that throughout history the price per ounce is rated at the price of one New York men's hand tailored 3 piece suit. Order a suit in New York today and see where gold is heading but what really plays now is where Silver and Platinum are heading but that is a whole other page.
Topof theridge - Not everyone will want to sell. I am one who will wait until after all the buyouts are done because I plan on seeking my return through the courts when a proper appraisal of the company value is set which currently is close to $15.00 per share ore value.
Salle1 - Severstal uses the strategy that worked for them in the past, The difference is the Crew gold experience has put them on the radar screen of major investment institutions and the Securities Commission. Much better chance for a different result
Goldcat007 - I agree that uniform regulation across the country would be best but do you really thing Quebec is going to co-operate with that?
Stem4me - I agree - Russians are no greedier than anyone else. The real difference here that folk don't appreciate is that Konstantine and his crew are smart business men and if you can ride a shark through shark infested waters you have a much better chance than just floating in the ocean.
SergeBrunet - So what if NordGold loans money to buy HRG? Bottom line here is that scaremongers, russian detractors, and lack of understanding or real faith is what has kept this stock down depite a strong buy rating with TD Waterhouse. In the end anyone who buys this stock below $1.50 and holds out to the bitter end will at least double their money. Why? Look where gold was when this stock was trading at $1.50 last. Look at the improved mining operations. Look at Severstals own faith in itself as it re-invests in itself. It is bizarre that the stock even dipped as Severstal demonstrates again it own knowledge and commitment to this highly valuable asset.
