Price of Moly vs. moly oxide!
Price of Moly is bought and sold as an oxide....it can vary depending on the oxidation state of the Moly ie: MOO2, MOO3, MOO4 etc. Approximate MOOx price is about $15/lb.
Most Moly finds are a MOS2. In the news release Mo is given as %Mo...., that is to say pure Moly. If this is what they meant to do then indeed, pure Moly would be trading at about double the present MOOx price. ($30+/lb.)
Depending which way you price moly, either scenario could be right! MOOx at $15.....MO at $30+.
Good post too, Mooreman, it follows my train of thought. You never really know what lies beneath until you punch the hole....regardless of how tech. sav v y any company claims to be.
I (that is my computer) follow close to 80 jr. exploration companies ( I own selective stocks in less than 10 private and public) and only 5 in total have shown any moderate sp increase in the last 2 months. To blame any one individual for a sp down trend is totally moronic! There are tons of cash sitting in the money markets waiting for the right time to jump into the market. All jr stocks are simply victims of times, political greed and unforseen events!
On this SXL board we face that reality of stalled-stale markets vs. the broken record syndrome or those with alterior motives!
That is why I so highly encourage each to conduct their own personal, concise and indepth - Due Dilligence.
There are no magic bullets or easy answers! There are those with certain technical capabilities that generously share their wealth of experience and know how....for the good of all! Well done to those who also have other's best interests at heart!!
