Down 60% ????????
The only time a person really loses out of pocket cash in the stock market is when they sell at a price lower than they purchased. True the markets are down and so are the share prices on over 90% of all jr ex. companys.
If you sell for less than you bought, you indeed have a loss. That means that those who sold SXL at .05 or .06 could realistically be down the 60% mentioned. Not what anyone wants. (Except the bashers)
However if you retain the stock, and when it returns to your purchase price or higher....there is no loss and perhaps a gain. For example, if your stock is down 99% and you sell, that is a definite loss. You forgo any chance of getting your investment back. As long as you retain the stock, you always have the hope that it will recover from it's lows, and until you sell you have really lost nothing. You still have potential value!
Thus the hue and cry of sell, sell, sell is a cry for lose, lose, lose in the real world! And of course that is a personal decision if you reallyl have to sell! The basher is really encouraging you to take the real loss, thus being down 60% is really the fault of the basher ....if you heed his advice. You will never recoup your loss if you sell! You no longer even have potential value! I make it clear that what you do is a personal decision...it wil not affect my sps in the least.
Selling, simply negates any future break even or any making money potential that a person figured on when doing his research in a company. Metal values are going up so are property values.
This is not a suggestion or hint to either buy, sell or hold.....each must make their own decisions. I have never read one of Mooreman's postings that encouraged a course of action for buying, selling or holding. You can check my postings too to see that I also, never make recommendations. I am not infallible, as is anyone else on this board.....well except the basher with the broken record syndrome who is UNABLE to take his own advice?!
If you haven't done sufficient Due Dilligence, eventually it will catch up with you!
