Strategy

StrategyIf we look back over the last 4 months or so it is clear that volumes have fallen to virtually nothing and ever since the Osisko deal was announced the SP has been heading south. Prior to that there was a pattern, post Christmas, that frequently in the last 10 or so minutes of trading someone was selling and therefore reversing any gains made during the day.
Sell in May and go away plus the background of the European debt crisis and the fun and games with funding the US budget deficit  goes, in my opinion, along way in explaining the low volumes.
I choose to think that the drift downwards has been highlighted a loyal but narrow investor base. What we need to do is expand our investor base by attracting 10 or so new institutional investors picking up 500k to 2,000k shares each but also by attracting another 100/200 or so new retail clients each with 20k to 50k holdings. This will require a planned and strategic approach to marketing the company not only in North America but also in Europe and the Far East. I see our current investor base as loyal but fully loaded. We need new blood on board.
I have no idea what the traded float would be, 10 or 20 million shares I guess, but we need that in the hand of new long term investors. Imagine what the SP would be if this road map could be turned into a reality.
Am I dreaming in technicolor, or have I been smoking something I shouldn't have? I don't think so.
Let's be patient and see what unfolds as big brother, ooops... our new powerful partner, goes about her investigations. I for one am really excited about the next few months.
GLTA.
