    I found technical analysis very useful when day trading. I don't have your expertise, but the Bollinger Bands did help me see a probable trading range, and where that stock was in the range. Broad bands seem to indicate good possibilities. (Possibly) imminent upticks on a low RSI, the Slow Stochastics and MACD charts were often useful.

    However, with SLW, things moved so fast that there wasn't much time for fine tuning. One eye on Kitco's spot prices for gold and silver and on the Dow were essential though.
