Casey 9-1-2011 UpdateComments: BUY FIRST TRANCHE—BYV delivered more near-surface, bulk-grade hits, but no new high-grade in the latest drill results. The takeover story remains strong, in our view, as does the discovery potential, and the shares have retreated to near their bottom again, so this is a buying opportunity. It’s not a production story, however, so if there’s no takeover for some time and no major new discovery, the shares could well keep trading sideways on a saw-tooth pattern. We’re willing to take that risk, because the basic speculation remains intact; if the mine next door gets built, we believe a deal will have to be made with BYV.??
