Has Morabito built or run a producing iron ore mine? Of course not, he's an explorer, lawyer, and businessman. Exploration and stock promotion is completely different from production, especially in bulk commodities like iron ore. The former is easy, especially because many of these iron ore deposits have been known for decades. Exploration isn't hard when you know where the deposit is already. The latter is a very tough, complicated, margin-focused business.

The whole junior iron ore sector is run by guys like Morabito, exploration and business guys. When more of these juniors hire experienced iron ore production execs like Tayfun Eldem then I'll take them more seriously.

I know exactly what Morabito's role is now: flying to Asia to try to sell stakes in the company in strategic deals with Asian steelmakers. He's a good businessman and I'm sure he'll help make a good deal. But let's be clear--Morabito, and execs at a lot of iron ore juniors, knows very little about how to build an iron ore mine.
