RE: PLET More Advanced than LEC?...

RE: PLET More Advanced than LEC?...Thanks TheRock07.

I think that HP-L Lignin being produced by LEC using their propietary technology is just another process in what seems now to be many different available processes of producing "High Quality Lignin".

Whatever the name, High Quality or High Performance, it's a form of Lignin that can be used to eliminate petroleum based products.

Maybe LEC has a different process, but PLET uses the waste of several different biomass feedstock.  If you read the link I provided, you'll see that their feedstock source is diverse, and they've already contracted for the feedstock source in their soon to be built 2nd generation biorefinery.

And, if you investigate this further, their efficiencies for extracting High Quality Lignin is high and their cost of Cellulosic Ethanol is well below the $2.00 per gallon mark.

Not touting PLET as I don't own the company, but LEC is not what is being touted in their literature as ahead in any way in the production and commercialization of non-petroleum based chemicals.

Again, I still think there is room for competition, but to think that Lignol will have a corner on the market for cellulosic chemicals and ethanol production would be wrong, IMO.  And PLET is still eligible for USDA and DOE funding whereas LEC is not.  It's a bit concerning to say the least.

FWIW, David Lyall has been selling shares lately, and he is now below or near the point where he doesn't have to report his stock transactions.  It was his purchase back in April that put him above the 10% mark.  He may now be below and so does not need to report.  atb
