However, the company has also been around in various forms since 1908 and in that time has built contacts and/or relationships with virtually every small to medium business in Canada. They have a significant online portfolio and they also cater to the older generation that still uses the printed yellow pages.
The YLO scenario has played out before in the US and Europe if you do some reading. Somebody does invariably end up seeing the value in the unique position these companies have to reach small businesses. YLO needs to remake itself -- no question there. However, I think they are well along the way and if they don't do it themselves, someone will see the value of what they have and buy it up.
