ANSELL CAPITAL CORP. ANNOUNCES DRILL RESULTS AT CHARLOTTE PROPERTY, YUKON
AnsellCapital Corp. has released results on the first nine holes fromdrilling at the Charlotte gold project in the Tintina gold belt, Yukon.
Assayshave been received for the first nine diamond drill holes, totalling1,492 metres, from the recently completed 20-hole drill program on theFlex and Orloff King zones at the Charlotte property located in theprolific Tintina belt. Previous historical drilling by other operatorsin the general area returned encouraging results such as drill holesDDH-10-243, which contained an intersection of 28.9 metres averaging5.06 grams per tonne gold, and DDH-10-248, which contained 8.60 metresaveraging 5.00 g/t gold.
Drillingthis year has intersected broad well-mineralized zones, enhancing thepotential for a bulk minable deposit to be hosted on the property.
Highlights include:
- DDH-11-257 -- 11.04 grams per tonne gold over 23.05 metres;
- DDH-11-254 -- 3.38 g/t Au over 12.40 m;
- DDH-11-255 -- 2.29 g/t Au over 18.45 m;
- DDH-11-259 -- 3.00 g/t Au over 14.55 m;
- DDH-11-258 -- 2.45 g/t Au over 12.50 m;
- DDH-11-2621 -- 1.71 g/t Au over 6.60 m.
Detailed results are shown in the attached table. All drill results are on the Flex zone.

Intersectionwidths are reported as downhole widths. A minimum grade of 0.2 gram pertonne gold was applied to calculate the average grade of each section,with no included internal waste.
Itshould be noted that no cutting of high-grade samples has been applied.At this time, the company has insufficient data to apply a cuttingfactor that is statistically relevant to this property.
Incompletesilver assays have also been received. Once full silver results aredelivered and reviewed, a further release will be made. At that time itis anticipated that a thorough geological analysis of these resultswill also be reported.
Charlotte property, Yukon
The property is located in the White Horse mining district, Yukon,approximately 180 kilometres northwest of Whitehorse and 60 kilometreswest of the village of Carmacks in the Yukon.
The property lies in a historical gold/silver mining district. Intenseexploration activities have been carried out since 1899 in the area.Four distinct gold- and silver-mineralized zones (the Brown-McDadezone, the Webber zone, the Huestis zone and the Flex zone) have beenidentified and all but the Flex zone have been mined historically. TheWebber, Huestis and Flex zones are located on the property. TheBrown-McDade zone, which was mined by open-pit methods, is located onan adjacent property to the east-southeast. Precious metal veins on thesurface and underground have been mined by various operators inclsudingPesco Silver Minerals Ltd. and most recently BYG Natural Resources Ltd.
In2008, a regional airborne geophysical survey was conducted on theproperty with the aim of locating and evaluating the extent and natureof the mineralization in the district. The results of this survey haveadded to the understanding of the property geology and are being usedto guide continuing exploration. Gold and silver mineralization occursin northwest-trending shear zones hosted by metamorphic andmetavolcanic rocks. The metamorphic rocks have been cut by narrow andlinear intrusive dikes and sills. Precious metal mineralizationcommonly occurs in quartz-sulphide vein systems within the shear zonesand halos extending into the host rock and is associated primarily withpyrite, sphalerite and lesser arsenopyrite and galena.
