RE: Is Now a Good time to buy GLD???
RE: Is Now a Good time to buy GLD???The short answer...no.
The long answer:
GLD spentaround 1 million dollars on a couple of independent fairness assessments andthe outcome was TRR is offering a fair price. TRR also paid RBC for the sameand the result was in the ballpark. GLD is not going to be offered a penny morefor the property.
Accordingto the 43-101, Jerome has an inferred valuation of 1 million ounces, howeverthere is a boat load of work to do on the property which Mason decided toabandon along with abandoning GLD altogether by leaving the company.
The curiousthing is, Mason was so sure GLD had the goods yet, he turned around and startedpromoting North Shore and West Cote Lake and came up dry for results. This leftJerome blowing in the wind since he didn’t continue drilling to prove up moreresource – things that make you go hmmmm.
GLD doesnot share the same strike as TRR. GLD drilled around 11 holes in an area theycalled West Cote Lake and turned up bupkiss.
GLD is not going to be worth anymore than it isgetting right GLD holders who do not tender their shares will be bag holders in a big way. If, and I say IF as I am sure TRR will win the GLD war, any GLD holders who didn't tender would be issued Class A non votingredeemable shares that can be redeemed at any time for 0.0862 of a TRR share.
