tips on using SEDI dataSEDI has full historical detail back as long as you want. The detailed transaction reports are easy to cut and paste from your browser in Excel. From there you can run any calculations you want easily. Note that each buyback transaction is paired with a cancel transaction. One is positive, the other negative. You need to filter out the negatives using the Excel SUMIF function ....
i.e. rather than just summing a column like this: SUM(J99:J197)
you need to type something like this for the excel formula:
SUMIF(J99:J197|">0"|J99:J197)
Once you learn how to use SEDI, it's a very useful and free tool.
For other types of insider transactions, you can use the final column on the right for cumulative totals. However, for this type, that column balances off to zero because of the pairing of buys with corresponding cancels.
It would be nice if the company just posted this info in a nice summary on their website... maybe a request for IR :-)
