Instead of discussing micro-economies such as Greece, people should really concentrate on the "big bang" problem, which is right in front of everyones door:

the default of the United States of America !

If you hear Greenspan saying that the American situation is so bad because of the Greek crisis, I just have to laugh (mao!).

This is all big bull$$$$ to distract from the REAL problems.

America is the overruling worldwide financial and economical problem !

This default (and it is on default already, if they would have a power failure and the money printing machines would stop immediately!) will be the REAL ignition of a worldwide unseen crisis.

But to be honest, even if all my bullion will be worth much more instantly and my gold shares will climb to new never-seen-before highs after an initial meltdown, trust me, nobody here wants to see THAT day.
