Why SMF is up today?

Why SMF is up today?Anyone has any theory on why we are up today when the rest of the investment world is going down the toilet? 

In fact the SMF SP has been like a runaway train of late.  This is the same stock that has been on life support for about eight months after heading into 2011 and just came back to life lately.  I think this is only one amongst a few stock that's up today too.

Strange but true.
