RE: RE: Let's put the guaranteed gold delivery debLet's make this as simple as possible,

From how I read it  FIU puts everything but the kitchen sink in COS.

So if you look at their total ounces sold   you see 12,893    less FN's cut of 5212  you have 7681 that FIU sold

Now go to their revenue from gold sold   11,682K add to that proceeds received from FN of 2,096  it comes to
14,078,000.

Now look at their cost of sales for gold and uranium   it's 20,751,000  divide that by total gold 12,893  it's 1,609

Now  look at their cost of sales to the FN portion, it's  11,392,000   if you divide that by total gold   you get,  929.00
That is the amount they are claiming it cost  for their portion and that is the new international way, the gold they transferred is accounted for at the total market cost.

Now  take the TOTAL of the two excluding Amort..    32,143,000.   divide that by the  12,893  you get...2,493 per ounce...Now don;t forget you have to amortize that and some other stuff but do you see where the high cost is from?

Had they not sent all that gold to Ezulwini their cost would have been roughly 1721.00 and that includes sending 7% to FN  This is why the costs drop significantly after January...  1700 is still really expensive but included in that are the charges for the repairs to the shafts, and apparently they really increased the amount of supplies to return to the old way of mining...

A $hitload of lunber and the like for support.  All thos e costs wiere more than likely added to the mix.

This is how I have read those numbers,   the 1700 still sucks  but it's a lot less than the 2500 they are presently claiming.
Also if they really start improving on the actual gold recovered (yeah  we've heard that before)  well teh cost of the gold will drop significantly I presume...

Hope this helps.

Just don't ask me anything more about this  do some research on your own,  you will learn a thing or two that way...
