RE: RE: RE: HRG added...
HRG use to be included in the Gold Index (and I think another Index also - perhaps the Global Index).

HRG was booted out during the global financial crisis in 2008.

Some funds/institutions are not allowed to hold stocks unless they belong to a recognized index.  This was a contributing factor to HRG`s rapid loss in market capitalization in 2008 (along with a number of other key factors of course).  HRG was always an extremely heavy institutional based stock.  Some of those institutions were no longer allowed to hold HRG after HRG was booted out of the Indices (hence the mad exist in 2008 immediately after the annoucement).

Personally, I don`t think the institutions will rush back into HRG (with this announcement) due to all of the reasons we have discussed associated with how HRG has been managed in the market place (since 2008).  However, I think it does open more institutional doors.  At the very least, I would imagine more institutions will be kicking the tires at some point, specifcally if the gold price continues to look positive and/or non-gold equity investments continues to struggle (with institutional managers needing to look elsewhere to meet their numbers).
