I'm all for great management compensation if & only if they provide good SH value & increase the value.Compensation should be based on performance not just showing up for work. Has EVG management done this to date? If not then why the generous package. Because SH can't do a thing about it. This is how all executives plan their pay packages based on what other executives get even if they are only half as successful as the executives they are baseing their own package on. Is this fair to SH's? Do SH's even have any relevance anymore other than to provide money in the form of PP's then watch management (not necessarily EVG) pi$$ it all away. Compensation is an intangible because it is rarely quantified. Left to their own devices & egos all CEO's & top managers would all think they are worth more than they get.
