RE: RE: RE:whoa_rimcheeseanilas - yes, I argued a lot with jameslast...but I agreed with him on one critical point. Look at inventory turnover and cost of goods sold over a period of time. Pointed to one of two things - either the numbers were misstated, materially OR the business model was not sustainable and the operating performance would begin to deteriorate significantly. It was hard to refute. Other elements I believed were a stretch, and I also hung my hat on the fact that none of the executive had resigned or been dismissed, the PWC report was still to be released in August, and the company was still communicating somewhat. When I recovered to a profit position on the upswing, I said to myself "you got lucky, now get the f*** out" and I did.
And, I am not bashing - I am stating that all the recent events paint a negative picture. I mean, how is that bashing?
I also said those that bought after CB's report can't really start blaming CB for their woes....doesn't that make intuitive and logical sense?
For the record, I find the TRE story fascinating - and after the halt, I was curious what the sentiment was - crazily, some are as bullish as ever. Being confused about that doesn't make me a basher.
