RE: toureg

RE: toureg>> $587 worth of metal?

I agree with Touareg's estimate for hole OC-11-11:

Silver: 188.07g/t is 6.05 oz/t, @$40.71/t has a value of $246/t
Zinc : 6.06% is 133.6 lbs/t, @$ 0.9786/lb has a value of $131/t
Lead: 8.69% is 191.6 lbs/t, @$1.0827/lb has a value of $207/t

Add these, and I get $584/t. As a general metric, I would say that anything above $100/t is good.

I also look at grams of gold * metres as a measure of how good the results are. In this case I would use gold equivalent * metres as no gold is involved. I also think that a gram-metre measure greater than 100 is good. Hole OC-11-11 has a gold equivalence of 10.0g/t, which gives it a gram-metre score of 379

All holes released yesterday had $value/t greater than 100, ranging from $198/t for hole OC-11-18 to the $584. Of the seven holes, only OC-11-17 and OC-11-18 had gram-metres less than 100 (they were 73 and 98 respectively, which are still quite good).

How do these compare to previous Ocelot results? Hole OC-11-11 is the best yet. Hole OC-11-09, released on June 13, had 41.72m @$522/t and 372g-m

Hpw do these compare to other results? Beats anything at Osiris and Conrad. It doesn't beat some of the results from Tiger though: Rau-10-90 released Aug5/10 had 38.8m @$1001/t and 664g-m.

Hope this helps.
