What's Taking So LongFrom what I've seen in the market with other joint venture mining deals with Asian concerns, 9 to 12 months is a typical length of time from the first press release announcing the deal to the formal closing of the joint venture.

The deal with XinXing was announced in July, 2010. Now it's 14 months later and they're still "finalizing" the details. It's certainly not on the fast track, but we'll see if they deliver.
