RE: RE: "The minister is unavailable" Thanks for response. I see that transparency.org rates Tanzania a 2.7 for corruption on a scale of 10. Very bad, but about average for Africa. I have to say that I find it very hard to believe that if Ruby has what we all hope they have that someone won't try to take it away from them before they get their license. How hard can it be for a Chinese company to either offer a multi-$million bribe, or set up some kind of phony joint venture with the minister's in-laws? I'm a little more comfortable with my investments in Venezuela and Nigeria, where the local joint venture takes 50%-68% off the top, then the government taxes the hell out what's left. At least I know that the locals probably think they've gotten as much as they can.
