RE: When Jobs saw the Playbook heI am a Microsoft guy, never bought an apple product ( ipod does not count LOL) until an Ipad 2 this year ... I am telling you after using an Ipad ... no bugs like my samsung laptop daily occurrence, my earlier Sony (expensive) after 13 months the hard drive was destroyed by virus sold it for $250
Now I know why 9 million units were sold in a quarter for Ipads and only 200,000 SHIPPED for playbook ..
Ipad has apps that are unbelievable ...most are free ... I thought I may have problems using an apple being a beginner ...it was a breeze ...common sense ...no issues ... people say no USB port or the flash thing which is causing problem with my samsung ....USB port is a crock when you have dropbox .... don't need the flash thing with my Ipad ... I go to the same sites no issues but better with Ipad as no freezing at all
Jobs is a genius ... I thought Ipad is a fad ...no Ipad is very useful I use it all the time from the washroom to the bedroom to the living at Starbucks etc ... battery really lasts 10 hours and damn light and functional
Only good thing with playbook is that it is made for your black berry hookup BUT then Iphone is killing all the smartphones ... boy RIM is in a spot
So Jobs know from the start the competitors are toast when he priced the cheapest Ipad at $500 ... he is a master tactician ... what a guy ... some people says he is the FORD of our generation ...I agree
But RIM still has patents, cash and a very small niche now ... so there is still hope
Cheers
