Things are good if you look 6 months to 1 year out

UUU has taken quite a bit of a beating over the past few months. At the current SP level, I think that UUU is a steal; a risky steal in the short run, but still a steal all the same. I know after last week's mini-rally others on this board are probably feeling the same way, but I often prefer to look out 6 months to 1 year. When I do, I see great things. No one can predict the future, but the need for energy will probably drive up uranium demand and therefore price.

I am not alone in this view either. On the basis of last quarter's earnings, many analysts gave some pretty good SP targets for UUU when compared to current market value. Analyst can make stupid predictions, sometimes with huge consequences for those that follow them slavishly, but they also get paid to get it right and often put their money where their reports are. Anyways, here is a quick rundown of analyst SP predication on the basis of UUU's Q2/2011 results, all 12-18 months out: Dundee - $5.40; Raymond James $5.20; CIBC 6.40; and conservative Canaccord 4.00, but with a buy rating.

Do with these estimates as you will.
