New Pacific Metals Corp. is a Canada-based exploration and development company, which is focused on three precious metal projects in Bolivia. The Company’s project includes Silver Sand Project, Silverstrike Project and Carangas Project. The Company’s flagship Silver Sand Project is located 35 kilometers (km) northeast of the Cerro Rico silver and base metal mineral system near Potosi in southwest Bolivia. The 5.42 square kilometers (km2) property sits in the Eastern Cordillera at an elevation of 4,050 meters above sea level. The Carangas Project is located about 180 km to the west of the city of Oruro, Bolivia. The project is comprised of three Exploration Licenses (Granville I, Granville II and Colapso) for a total area of 40.75 square kilometers and is accessible via the paved Highway 12 and a municipally maintained 30 km gravel road. The Silverstrike Project is located approximately 140 km southwest of La Paz, Bolivia, or about 450 km northwest of its Silver Sand Project.

Update on 2011 drilling program:

1. Drilling activities: Currently, one surface drill rig is at the Skukum Creek area,
a second surface drill rig is at the Goddell area, and a third surface rig is at Mt.
Skukum. Surface drilling will continue until October, 2011.

2. Total depth: Total planned drill meterage between September and October,
2011 is about 9,800 meters.

3. Assay results: Awaiting for assay results of 14 holes from the Skukum Creek
project.

4. Potential high-grade zone: First step out surface drill-hole (Raca 11-01) at
Raca site intercepted 1,280 g/t Ag, 1.9 g/t Au over 1.58 m. (See August 2, 2011
press release for details.)
