Correcting the record

Correcting the record

I had a conversation with Rob Slavik this evening. In his haste at the R&R conference, Toby miss-spoke last week and what he meant to say was that the COMMISSIONER of Mining & Minerals, not the Minister, is the party we're waiting on. Commish- Dr. Kafumu vacated the spot to run for elected office. Rob related to me that The Commisioner of Mining and Minerals is a pretty important role as you may imagine- being sole person with authority to issue and transfer licenses- and the TZ Gov is moving with all due speed to replace Kafumu. Rob believed they have a candidate identified and are going through the vetting process, much the same as we here in the U.S. would do for a presedential appointee. It shouldn't take much longer, but we have to let it run its course.
So there we have the facts straightened out from a very reliable and knowledgeable source.

I did some digging around and found this news about Kafumu here:

and here are a few other links of interest that I came across while surfing around

Last but not least, Rob appreiciates all our support and interest and welcomes your questions. He is accessible and can be contacted by mail or phone via the contacts listed on the company website. He will respond in kind as able.
