At a glance it would appear that ATV will achieve the 1M oz. mark. Results are still pending for some assays and they are extending the strike zone. Large gold company ore bodies on average are 0.5 to 1.5 grams per ton universally, with the usual higher grade intercepts.
The key with lower grades is large tonnage and the metallurgy of the ore. If it is open pit and amiable to a cyanide leach, ATV could look very nice as tonnage proves out. The geology in their area suggests a positive result for this scenario, based on other mining companies in the area.
When gold was at $1300 to $1400/oz. some major companies paid as high as $1100/oz. IN SITU. Now one can see their forsight pay off as they are still paying the $1100. and gold is around $1800. Some months back I posted the link to this news release (can't remember which board though). I don't have it handy so will try to locate and re-post it when time allows.
