    I can't believe our Mgt, or any other miners mgt, will release any news right now in the middle of this storm!  With everyone battening down the hatches and gearing for heavy weather they will probably hold off saying anything, and take refuge below.

    It wouldn't really matter how good the news was it would probably fall on deaf ears, at least until the barometer starts to rise and we can shake those reefs out of the mains'l.

    Now, where's my safety harness?  Don't think the life jacket will do much good out here - it would only prolong the agony.  Gotta stay on board, though ... at least until I can get the life raft launched!

    Oh boy!  why didn't I stay home and take up golf?  Of course, there're lots of others out here in the same boat; well, not in the same boat, but you know what I mean!  The sky's so black I can't actually see them, but I know they are out there, somewhere, sweating it out just like me!.

    Still, there's hope!!  My mother used to say, "Remember, behind every cloud there's a silver lining!"

    I sure hope she's right!
