RE: RE: RE: RE: RE: The deal is still active...Cabbie and everyone for that matter... and LET ME BE CLEAR.... lol ... had to do that as anyone that follows politics knows when someone says that chances are they are stringing a line of fabrication.... however, This is my last post for today.... PROMISE...
thanks by the way cabbie as I have always respected your opinions, posts and information posted...
oh yes when you begin with a BUT ... it negates everything you have said before ... just thought i would point that out... lol... I would always try to use however, ... :)
There undoubtedly are informations that are being kept confidential that I have no doubt, that goes without saying ... and there has been bashing between WIN and MSD from the respective parties to show they mean business and say I have a bigger ______ as the saying goes ... etc etc... now all that asside... Disclosure rules asside ... JS is playing this masterfully as you say and I give you credit for that and to JS for doing that ... however, ( Note: I did not use but ) ... if one is to look forward in this business or any for that matter ... one can extrapolate a great deal on market sentiment... as I posted the other day with reference to when the so called debate entering or not entering into slow down , recession or never having left the first etc.. etc... as a CEO responsible for an entity one has to consider every aspect of a given deal ... that includes market trends the works... and one also has to look to the history of WIN and it's share holder valuation and what certain forces affect the valuation of a company and or it's shares etc etc... and I do not think that was considered here ... We can all look back to previous items like the bought deal etc.. and know how the market has reacted... The fact is that WIN's shareholder valuation has always been on a certain path... and for me I will say that of being under valued... no matter what has transpired... this stem back to the pre JS days ... way back to the Talk of Cisco buying them out in the early day of WIN ... there is and always has been a distrust since that point... the share value has always been reflected accordingly...
It would be my guess that there are people still today who bought into the hype back then of the tech bubble... and hold shares that were valued over 90.00 ... now I am fortunately not one of those who bought in at those levels... Yippee for me ... now back to original Nokia Deal ... remember the bougt deal there ... well again same scenario, and you can go on and on how WIN has been viewed ... even the settlements in January... and the non - settlements like APPLE ... it was said it was done then it wasnt and so on and so forth... so believe me there is a lot of distrust to go around throughout WIN's history ... and are many of the reason's that WIN trades at less than 7 times it's peers... so ... it is because of all this ... history and more that many just want to move forward... they do not want JS to be playing games masterfully or otherwise ... they just want WIN to move forward... walk if need be and you know my view ... :) ... So having said all that ... and that all are asleep... Point being ... I understand and many understand... what many have said with respect to going forward with the deal etc... however, when many also have seen a 30 % decline in the value since the deal was announced... all they can see is what " WAS " so even though there are folks like me that are long and strong ... and see all aspects many are also in this to flip take profits etc... I am in the green on this play and doing actually quite well... but given all the potential ... I would rather US focus on moving forward... and not have to be shall I say penalized for miffed ideals that MSD bod have thrown curve balls into a deal that are at anyone's guess good or bad for WIN going forward... devil is in the details... Truly...
anyway ... I am exhausted so I am sure all of you are reading this ...
NO more to be said by me in this forum today.....
ps ... it is not a matter of whether we trust JS or not ... it is just a matter of moving WIN forward ... from what I see MSD and its BOD do not want to share in WIN's future ... so lets move on...
just my honest opinion,
glta,
Wolf
pss sorry for being so long winded
