Yellow is in the advertising business, but getting a Yellow Pages (and/or online equivalent) listing isn't like buying an ad during the Super Bowl. It's a basic cost of doing business. For a very small business, it might be the main way you let potential customers know you exist. In a downturn some customers would drop their listing, and others would go with a less expensive listing, but I'd expect less drop-off than for more discretionary advertising.
