Gold will recover after this issue with Europe is settled. Simply put Europes problems are immediate while the USAs are more long term, so for now people have been fleeing that immediate problem of Europe by investing in the US, which helps them to prop up there dollar, which of course drives the value of gold down. Coupled with that a lot of gold investors are trying to liquidate there position in anticipation of Greece defaulting and all the chaos that`ll cause....
But once Europe is through this I think gold will recover as the US and it`s problems once again take centre stage and a weakened US dollar only makes gold look even better and I do think we'll see 2000+/oz on 2012...
And right now all the panicky investors have already dumped this stock so I think we're near bottom and I really can't see this dropping much lower...
