Interesting analysis. If we're to assume that the gold bull market that we're in now will run a similar course to the '79/'80 run, then we should see the gold stocks jump pretty soon. It's hard to say, however since gold has been steadily increasing since about October 2008. That actually puts us about 3 years into the cycle whereas that trend saw the peak come less than 1 year after the rise of gold. At the moment, we're at the downtrend of the peak.

In the '79/'80 analysis, It took approximately 1 year from the peak of the gold price to when the gold stocks hit their peak. With that said, this trend seems to be a little bit different than that one. From everything that I've read and my gut feeling suggests that we won't see near the drop from the peak that we saw before. At some point in the near future, those gold sellers are going to run out of gold to sell. Similar to the amount of shares that anonymous has been throwing on the market for this stock. I would think that we're within 6 months of starting to see some increase of the gold stocks but as with all looks into the future, only time will tell.
