European debt woes?

European debt woes?Went fishing and I normally come back to a rise in stock price?

Gold has taken it on the chin finally. Strange though, the news headlines while it was being driven up are the same headlines being used for why it's being driven down?

In the $1600 range it may not be seen as a bubble anymore and allow the profitable producers to gain some value. Nice cash flow while it lasted. Still almost $100 per oz over last quarter's average.

The economic woes will not be going away for many months.  There have been very few positive economic reports coming from the US but the currency continues to appreciate. A new recession is just around the corner for them.
For exports they don't want a stronger currency so maybe Bernake will try more easing to weaken their dollar.
