Dividend 'in kind'I prefer Jim Sinclair’s solution for short-selling:
KWN – Jim Sinclair – June 8, 2011
From half way through the interview, Sinclair cited; Durban Roodeport Deep in the late 60’s rose from 36¢ to $36 while paying up to a 21% dividend. He also described a Canadian whiskey maker that offered dividends in warehouse receipts. He suggested if Gold producers were to “marry” these two examples and offer dividends with the option of bullion, “The end of short-selling of that Gold share will occur on the day that it does that.”
