and I own a liquor store on Main Street (Tireshop Wine & Spirits, 601 W. Main). I have seen miners coming through my store more and more often. They earn $30+ an hour which is very good for Southern Colorado and they buy nice beers, spirits and wines. A miner came into the store tonight, bought a fifth of Stoly, and told me that the ramp up to full production is going well and that they need 500 workers by the end of the year. Right now only 250 are hired. Anyway, just wanted to give you an on the scenes report....everything is on schedule!
