RE: RE: RE: RE: Bonanza
RE: RE: RE: RE: BonanzaI don't consider myself geolgically competent, and I haven't commented much on the latest news release because there's not a lot to comment on. But since my friend sunwood keeps asking...
The assays were for about 20% of the planned underground drilling. It's a bit disappointing that only 20% of the results are available at a point in time when, based on the last things we heard from management, we should be expecting that they should all be available. No prior warning of drilling issues was given. Not what I expect, or like to see from supposedly high quality management.
Grades were ok to good, but widths were narrow, so I have mixed feelings about the results themselves, but I'll wait for the other 80%. These holes average 55 meters each, so really this isn't for exploration as much as mine planning. They're just drilling what is immediately ahead of the mining crews. Within 6 months or so all of this rock will be history. As a long horizon investor, I don't think I should get too excited (either direction) about stuff like that. Long term, I'm much more interested in the surface drilling results.
I guess that's why I didn't bother to comment earlier.
