RE: RE: RE: How he kill YLOLOL.  I think you got a literal translation on "lack of pot" :-).

Parting with trader was theoretically a 100 million loss on the books because some assets that were retained, etc.   It was a serious misstep and it remains to be seen whether the items they retained are worthwhile.  Ziplocal was another one they should have seen coming.   That said, I think they've made some good steps as well.   Canpages was their main competition in the Canadian SMB directory market and they added about 500 people with online selling experience to their sales team.   Formation of mediative also seems to have been a good move.

On the online revenue front, there is no question that there was progress.   From 2009 to 2010, there was a 43.8% gain in online revenue.    In 2011, there was a 33% gain over 2011 numbers in the last quarter.   They made 83 and 86 million online in Q1 & Q2 2011 with online revenues.    Q3 and Q4 are traditionally good quarters online because it's a busy time of year for small business advertising campaigns.

I'm not as down on the management team as some though I haven't been around through some of their past failures and felt them first hand.
