trivia question

trivia questionbeen wondering about ruby's comment about 1 m3= 2/3 of a ton, or 1.5m3=1 ton. 40m3/hr equipment was described as 60 tons/hr. richernow mentioned that he guessed 35 m3= 65 ton/hr, which is a different ratio. Are these ratios just a wild guess or pretty accurate, and could this value fluctuate wildly over the property depending on sand conditions? I am asking trying to educate myself due to having such a large position in one stock, albeit the only stock holding right now headed in the right direction. found this on a website:Sand, wet - 1.92 tonne/cubic meterSand, wet, packed - 2.08 tonne/cubic meterSand, dry - 1.60 tonne/cubic meterSand, loose - 1.44 tonne/cubic meterSand, rammed - 1.68 tonne/cubic meterQuartz sand - 1.2 tonne/cubic metercubic meters * x = tonnetonne / x = cubic metersWhere x is one of the values from above.
