gold equiv ... putting TSQ in perspective

gold equiv ... putting TSQ in perspectiveOn the weekend I was talking to a friend about Tosca, and he seemed pretty 'up' about the deposit via the fact that thirty years of drilling by three + different companies must be taken seriously and at face value .  But what was interesting was his ability to put the value in perspective.  As he said, "Mike if this was not a Moly Copper deposit but was a gold deposit everyone would be wetting their pants"  How so? I asked.  "Well, if you multiply out today's value of Copper & Moly in the cap, add in the really big Moly underneath, and expand it by say 15% becasue it is open at depth and to the east, you have the equivalent of at least a 2.5 Million ounce gold deposit AT SURFACE."
Do you think if Tosca had the mineral dollar equivalent in sexy gold instead of boring base metals it would have an $8 million market cap?" Well no I guess not I replied.  "BUT the dollars are the same colour no matter the mineral mined, so who cares if it is Moly or Copper or Gold, it is value, and THAT is why I am a fan and an owner of Tosca."

While this does offer an interesting perspective, and certainly a lot of companies report in 'gold equivalent' Tosca simply is NOT a gold company, it is a base metals company and likely always will be.  However it is interesting to put into perspective exactly what the value of Tosca might someday be in something other than "Boring Base Metals'
Mike!
