A Nickel For My ThoughtsAt the pinnacle of excitement for this stock, we were pretty sure that a new posting would get about 300-400 reads. You can still get 250 now. People are still looking and wondering.
There were about a dozen high quality posters and commentators here and they all had something valuable to add to the conversation. Some had information from the CEO or from calls they made to the company.
Some were chiming in and were clearly pumping or bashing. Still, there was action.
Now, it is quiet on the board. People don't say much even though there is considerable information and insight to be gained by looking at the video of the AGM Presentation and listening to the Q&A that followed.
There is a lot to talk about beyond the 'single-gear' Phase 2B clinical trial that we were all hanging on in Spring 2010. This Trial DID NOT FAIL and is in position to go forward when the money is in place. We could MAYBE dilute to do it now but that would put us in a position where we would have a goal that would be reachable in 2.5 years where we may/may not get success. Would we survive until then? Would you be willing to wait 2.5 years for anything NEW. Don’t be stupid! We need a new hook. You hear Mr. Allen allude to that repeatedly in the video.
Now, we have a more complicated story with:
>>Numerous high quality and highly desirable patents that other researchers are likely currently encroaching on and will need to pay for that privilege
>>A brilliant board of directors full of visionaries in the medical field.
>>A brilliant Executive Chairman with connections and insights in the financial world that are far beyond what we could have ever expected of our old leadership.
>>A creative and novel direction for the future of the company that allows for growth and expansion into this new 'commercialization' area while maintaining a lower but deliberate boil under our own trial activities.
>>Connections to 'free money' in the federal and provincial governments.
>>A Chairman of the Board who has his own skin in the game in a big way. Dean Peterson stepped up to take a stake when we were on the ropes. Is he a doctor? No. Is he a scientist? No. Does he know how to enlist the right people to move an agenda forward? Absolutely. He knows business and understands where we are and where we can go.
>>A goal to get on a US Exchange. This will get us the visibility that we need and will make us a HIGHLY desirable stock (even at many multiples above what we are now) when the economic waves settle and the US is ready to move money back into brilliant opportunities.
All this.... for a Canadian 5 Cent Piece.....Stunning
