A word on analysts

A word on analystsBooya, you posted "The analist video that I posted also mentioned that the markets willrebound 15 to 20%, and then WHAM!!This crisis is just getting startedfolks." I can post 5 analyst predictions saying the worst is over and 5 who will say this is the calm before the storm. In my experience I have learnt to NEVER listen to analysts. They are people who will predict future market movement based on their own biases. If you are a bear analyst...the market is bear. If you are a bull analyst....the market is bull. The only thing bear and bull market analysts have in common is.....they are both just guessing like anyone of us on these boards - and that's ok.

In 2008 an analyst warned to not buy bank stocks. "Stay away from bank stocks folks!!! We have just begun the closing of banks!!!! Make sure to move your money between different banks because that way your money is insured!!! And for heaven's sakes folks!!! DON'T buy bank stocks!!!" Well....all the banks didn't melt away aaaannnddd.....all the bank stocks I was about to invest in but didn't as I chose to listen to the analyst....are you ready for this?.....went up 20 to 30 dollars a week later. And as Paul Harvey would say: "And now you know the rest....of the story....good day!"
