Given that BXE current production is around 12,000 boe/d and proven + probable reserves is 51 MMboe, I think SKW would be a prime candidate for BXE to take out. SKW current production is around 2,000 boe/d and proven + probable reserves is 11 MMboe, this would immediately add a 22% and 17% increase to BXE production and reserves respectively. Count to that the great potential of SKW to grow it's P+P reserves and daily production numbers, it would be a significant enough addition to BXE for them to consider strongly. Of course one of the main reason would be land location which is in the same area as BXE (don't forget, SKW has prime Cardium land holdings).
