: The _ Shadow ,.... LOL .. maplak... LOL... and from Maplak's to the Pawn Shop, it is just  down a flight of stairs....  LMAO

Like somebody pointed out, the Allan Mine was a major Met Coal exporter with a full rail link and rail load out facility, the feasibility of this is not in question.

If the Diesel Engines have to work hard and move slow to get the coal from BC and Alberta (Grande Cache), up and through the Mountains, to the Coast... how long does it take and how much does it cost the railways !

What if from New Elk to Corpus Christi it is mostly downhill, but further !?

We all know that Diesel prices are less in the USA than in Canada, and so are the tax rates.

So we might find that the shipping costs for New Elk are actually LESS than they are for GCE.   One cannot just look at the map.

This is a red herring.     We all know that when the rail spur is constructed, this will be a MAJOR milestone achieved.

Coal Contracts...
... followed by a rail spur...

And we are easily over $5.00 and on our way to $10.00
