RE: NEWS THIS MORNING!

RE: NEWS THIS MORNING!Nickel77,

It is nice to see the share price edge up. The move this morning was quite a spike, compared to normal changes on this stock - there were definitely a few buyers anxious to quickly take, or add to, a position. I'm not complaining, but to keep things in perspective, the volume does not represent a large dollar amount, and appears to have now levelled off, and the price dropped back. Still, a 35% increase is nice, and I guess one thing that was shown is that there could be some volatility in the share price, if a positive development was announced.

There are a few things in the near future that could result in a positive market reaction. There has been drilling activity on a few properties - release of the results is often a non-event, but if there is suggestion of worthwhile new deposits, it could add to interest in the company. I believe updated NI43-101 report[s] are expected in this quarter or the next - a worthwhile increase in reserve tonnage and mine life would be positive. And of course the start up of mining and mill production is expected soon - we could see a few positive days as this announcement nears. The thing that I look forward to is reaching a point where operating cash flow can be estimated. A year or so ago, there were some forecasts tossed around on this forum, that gave some idea of earnings and cash flow that could be expected. Debt levels and dilution has increased since then, it will be interesting to relate earnings number in relation debt repayment.

We've been down this road before, and found that these things seem to take forever - but it is nice to be able to expect some positive events again.
