Is it that you don't understand or that you believe it is BS?


The explanation makes sense. Drilling 2500+m down is not easy. We already know that the hole is subject to caving and dislodging a wedge happens all the time. Most miners don't give weekly updates so no-one hears about it. Would you prefer they didn't say anything?


What might be interesting is to ask how far they were when they hit this problem? Maybe not much further than 2593.5m. Also knowing when they expect to rejoin the mother hole would be useful.
