PMI cheap
PMI cheapBut NES definitely worth a look in here. Tony Hayes of EuroPac released a research report with a $10.75 target price and strong buy initiated last Friday. Tony Hayes, Euro Pacific Capital (10/12/11) "Newstrike Capital Inc. continues to publish extremely encouraging assay results from this year's drilling program on its flagship Ana Paula project. . .we looked at the published drill results, the geology, geochemistry and geophysics of both the Ana Paula project and the surrounding projects and conclude that there is indeed evidence supporting the potential for the company's project to host a gold resource in excess of 8 Moz. . .Newstrike has a very experienced board, management and technical team that co-discovered the significant resources of Goldcorp and Torex amounting to 8 Moz. of the 15.5 Moz. in the Guerrero Gold Belt." With drill results like these.. 231 m @ 7.51 g/t au, 190 m @ 3.52 g/t au, 116 m @ 4.71 g/t au, 120 m @ 4.60 g/t au, 214 m @ 3.00 g/t au, 280 m @ 1.40 g/t au, 119 m @ 3.76 g/t au, 112 m @ 2.51 g/t au... I believe NES is the highest grade explorer on the market by a good margin. PMV is now trading at much closer to fair value on a gold resource basis to its peers and most of the 43-101 has already been priced in. Based on a market cap of $260 M dollars fully diluted, PMV is trading at a value of $65/ oz or close to the peer avg. in Africa. NES is trading at the same fully diluted market capitalization of $260 M dollars but has a potential for 3.5 million ounces of gold in their breccia alone which was discovered this year. Surrounding NES' breccia is a lower grade halo of mineralization with bonanza silver and 0.7 g/t au average gold. NES likely has over 4 million ounces in lower grade gold with a high-grade starter pit of 3+ million ounces at over 3.5 g/t au. I believe NES provides much better upside potential to those who have participated in the last run up on PMV shares. Not saying this won't go higher as we get closer to a production decision but most of the value is baked in at this point. Just look at VTR trading at $30 / oz valuations or only half of PMV's evaluation per ounce. I can agree PMV has double the grades so it's fair but at 100% the value of other peers for gold in the ground the market is giving PMV a more reasonable valuation after doubling the share price.
